For this year you can’t expect less than an elegant indoor–outdoor fête with a fusion of French cabaret, Cancan, aerialists, and DJ vibes. 2 - Le Petit Paris


Le Petit Paris in Downtown Los Angeles hosts a delightful, festive Bastille Day celebration each year—think “Moulin Rouge–style” cabaret meets art‑deco happy hour. On July 14, starting around 5 pm, the restaurant throws its Grand Apéro, featuring two drinks and an amuse‑bouche buffet.

Following the apéro, dinner at Le Petit Paris becomes an immersive experience. From about 8 pm, expect a cabaret show—such as busts of the Moulin Rouge—paired with bistro classics like beef bourguignon, duck confit, and their signature cognac-flambéed truffle pasta. Bar Lis in Hollywood (at the Thompson Hotel) will host a special Bastille Day edition JULY 15 (not on the 14th) of Jazz Eclectic LA bringing a perfect blend of jazz, cabaret, and DJ sets to the rooftop courtyard on Tuesday, July 15. Expect a vibrant evening beginning with live jazz-funk and French Riviera–style ambiance (complete with cypress trees and fountain), followed by a lineup featuring cabaret flair and DJ-infused grooves to keep the celebration lively. The dress code is smart-casual—dress to impress—and entry is typically free with RSVP or table reservation. It’s the perfect way to extend Bastille Day festivities with a touch of sophistication and musical charm in West Hollywood.

4 - Loulou Rooftop Restaurant

Loulou Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge in Santa Monica typically goes all out for Bastille Day, offering a vibrant French‑Californian soirée. In 2025, expect a stylish evening atop Santa Monica Place with DJ sets, maybe even dancers or performers, all complemented by French-inspired cocktails and a curated menu reflecting the spirit of Paris-meets-coast. The ambiance is chic and breezy, complete with ocean views, smart‑casual attire, and a lively yet elegant crowd—making it one of the top picks for celebrating Bastille Day on the Westside.
